Support Restorative Justice at
Mark Twain Middle School
Studies have shown that a positive and safe school environment can help students socially, emotionally and academically. Through the Restorative Justice process, students learn to:
(1) constructively express themselves to their peers,
(2) listen to each other,
(3) cultivate empathy, **and**
(4) create a sense of belonging in the Mark Twain community,
(5) effectively navigate conflict resolution, and
(6) mindfulness.
These skills are invaluable during critical middle school years and going forward. The district can no longer support this vital program at MTMS due to budget cuts. Dr. Ford and FOMT are committed to funding a full-time RJ counselor at MTMS, but we need your help. Please consider contributing to FOMT to support this program.
