Dear Friend of Mark Twain,

We’re excited to invite you to support the Friends of Mark Twain 6th Annual Auction, Sharks Lead The Way, benefiting students and teachers at Mark Twain Middle School, a Title I public school serving hundreds of local families.

As public funding continues to shrink, essential enrichment programs—art, music, science, clubs and athletics—depend on community support. This annual auction helps fill that gap and directly funds programs that enrich learning and support the whole child. Our online auction reaches hundreds of locals—an easy, impactful way to promote your business while supporting education.

Event Highlights
• Online Auction: April 24 – May 10
• Live Community Event: May 2, 2026

Proceeds support fine arts (including ceramics), restorative justice, the school garden, field trips, student clubs (Robotics, Chess, Science Olympiad, Model UN), athletics, classroom materials, and school-wide cultural events.
 

How You Can Help
We welcome auction donations and event sponsors. Popular contributions include gift certificates, services, tickets, experiences, tech items, accessories, memorabilia, and gift cards of any value. Sponsorships include prominent recognition and logo placement throughout the event and online auction.

All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.​
