Because we are not employees and we do not attend staff meetings nor are we privy to intercampus faculty communications, if any information we posted in any of our communication channels (website, IG, FB, WhatsApp, newsletter) changes, there may be delays in our ability to make necessary corrections. We will at times make mistakes and may unintentionally post wrong information or content that becomes obsolete. All information we provide is gathered to the best of our knowledge and is done with the sole purpose of helping families navigate our large school with its many activities, events and clubs.

The Friends of Mark Twain WhatsApp Community is our space to share updates, coordinate volunteers, and stay connected as a Shark family.

👋 We are all volunteers. Every person sharing information in this community is a parent doing their best for Mark Twain — just like you. Please extend the same grace you would want extended to you.

📢 We share info as we get it. FOMT is a parent booster club, not school administration. The school does not always communicate on our timeline and we do not always have the full picture right away. We share what we know, when we know it, and we will always correct mistakes quickly and transparently when they happen.

💛 Kindness and respect are non-negotiable. By being part of this community you agree to engage with care and respect — because we are all here for the same reason. We love these kids and we love this school.

🚫 This is not a space for complaints about individual staff members, students, or families. Posts of that nature will be removed from this group and from all FOMT social media channels without notice. For concerns about the school, please reach out to administration directly — FOMT is always happy to help connect you with the right person.
