Good evening Mark Twain families,

This is Dr. Ford calling with updates and announcements. This week we have reached the five week point in the semester; time is flying.  Please check your child’s grades through the I, they should be available over the weekend.  

​

Students participated in Club Rush today and were given lots of information about the many clubs happening on campus this year.  I am attaching the list in case you are wondering what’s available.  We have lots of activities starting next week after school including intervention and a variety of our clubs and classes.  For those who ride the school bus, late buses will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays.   We also sent home field trip slips for our first field trips of the year including an amazing camping opportunity, please check with your child for more information.

 

This week we have experienced some extreme weather conditions and I wanted to remind you to please ensure your child has a water bottle with them (filling stations are available).  With that in mind, many students continue to leave their items including sweaters and water bottles around the campus; please have them check our lost and found in the Counseling Office for their missing items, anything not collected will be donated at the end of each month.

  

Dates to add to your calendar are my monthly Tea with Me, which will take place on Thursday, September 24th at 9am in the library.  Please check our school website and calendar for more important dates.
