To those of you who are new to Mark Twain, WELCOME and to those of you returning, WELCOME BACK.  Please find attached the Welcome Back letter from Dr. Ford, with some very important information.

Next Thursday we will begin our student orientations with 8th graders and 7th graders on Friday. 6th grade orientation will take place on Monday, August 11th. These orientations are not mandatory but it’s a chance to collect textbooks, receive locker combos and purchase PE clothes.  We ask that students bring a bag with them should they want to bring their books home.

A reminder that if you are new to our school, you must complete a physical enrollment packet, not just the pre-enrollment forms online.  If you have not yet done so, please visit the campus between 9am-2pm Monday through Friday to complete this before Tuesday, August 12th. This includes ALL new students (residential or otherwise).   If you aren’t sure, call the office to double check.  Students without enrollment packets on file will not be given a complete schedule until this paperwork is submitted.

Please note, if you are receiving this message and you do not plan on sending your child to Mark Twain for Fall 2025, please call the school at 310-305-3100 so we can remove your child from the system.
