Mark Twain Spelling Bee

Mark Twain will participate in the National Scripps Spelling Bee!

  • First round will be held during the week of February 8th (online exam will be administered through National Scripps spelling bee website) likely during advisory period;

  • The top spellers from each class, as well as every student achieving a 75% score or higher, will be eligible to advance to the next round;

  • We will host quarter-finals at the end of the week of February 8th (if necessary);

  • Semi-finals on Tuesday Feb 16th and Wednesday Feb 17th during lunch or after school, virtually, via zoom;

  • We will hold Mark Twain’s school wide spelling bee during lunch or after school on Friday, February 19th.

Announcing Mark Twain’s First Annual Auction!
We are planning to host this event in the spring of 2021!

Our 1st Annual Auction will happen this spring.  We invite you to participate in this exciting event and are looking for sponsors, volunteers, and auction items, such as goods, gift cards, services, events, tickets to shows, airfare, amusement parks, hotels, weekend getaways, summer camps, and more!
